We decided on luxury rooms as we would like your pet to have every comfort to make their stay as stress-free and enjoyable as possible, we know the idea of leaving pets in kennels is not for everyone especially those with nervous or older dogs hence us trying to create a different kind of service and accommodation to help owners that feel they can actually go on holiday without worrying too much. Each room is 9' x 13' and is furnished to try and create a homely feel for them, we have a newly constructed room which is over 14" square so ideal for large family groups, it has access straight on to the outside patio area.
We do recommend that you bring along familiar items like their own bed or a familiar blanket and toys to help them settle in although a luxury bed and bedding are provided if you don't wish to do so.
Each room has a wall mounted TV and radio, if your pet enjoys this it can be left on during the times they aren't been walked or outside in the patio area which is securely fenced so no worries of escapes.
There are leather armchairs or sofas in each room but we will remove these if your dog is not allowed on your furniture as we don't want to encourage them to do what they aren't allowed to do at home.
There are heat lamps positioned above each bed to keep your dog nice and warm when its a bit chilly, they are on all day during winter and as they are on two heat settings we can turn them up on to the higher setting at night. We always towel dry the dogs if they come in wet.
We have only eight rooms so your dog can enjoy plenty of individual attention and nice walks.
All the dogs room which are brick built are warm in winter but surprisingly lovely and cool in summer, there is also door at each end on the building which can be safely left open to let fresh air blow through too, so no need to worry that your dog will be cooking during the warmer months. We are also lucky enough to live on a long lane lined with trees that give shade while walking them too, great for them....and me ha.
We have also had radio linked smoke alarms fitted in the building where the dogs rooms are which triggers off an alarm in the house just for extra safety (thanks to Sox mum for that suggestion).
